Nominator's project description
| Professor Ramírez’s research focuses on the study of mathematical modelling of complex phenomena with intrinsic disordered media. With his significant contributions solving several longstanding conjectures he has established himself as one of the leading experts in modern Probability Theory. During his stay in Germany, he intends to investigate the large deviations of random walks in random environment and the universality class of the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation. |
